Positive: The car charging situation is pretty good (22kW, Iberdrola-compatible), especially if you hook your car up when you check in so that it’s ready to be moved before you go to bed. The “rollaway” child bed was frankly better than a lot of the “real” beds we’ve encountered this trip. The stained-glass ceiling was gorgeous and made me wish I had time to sit in the lobby and read/relax under it.
Negative: The cleanliness of the bathroom and beds were fine, but the carpet in the room could use a shampooing (or replacing with something lower-maintenance)
Summary: Old-school fancy hotels still exist… and this one even has a decent car charging station.

Positive: The room was quite large even by American standards. Room was functional and clean. It's a quick bus ride (E2.35) from the train station to the hotel. Study up on the bus system as it works well getting from the hotel to the tourist sites of Segovia. Fares are E1.15, but make sure you catch the bus in the right direction (to or from the hotel).

Positive: Nicely designed hotel. We got a spacious, comfortable room. Nice staff. Big free parkig area.
Negative: As a four-star hotel, some things could be better. Unfortunately, in our bathroom the water in the shower barely drained and the shower pipe was broken. Contrary to the description, there was no coffee maker in the room, we didn't have a balcony and we didn't have a great view (the latter two would be fine, just don't include them in the room description, but we missed the coffee maker). The opening hours of the Spa are absolutely not guest-friendly.
