Summary: It's a beautiful hotel, clean and very friendly stuff. The problem I have is there is no elevator and AC. A railroad track runs right in front of the castle. I have back injuries and could not carry my luggage through stairs. Lucky one of the waitresses helped me with the luggage after check in. At the check out, I tried to call the front desk for help, but phone doesn't work. So I dragged the luggage down, which was not very easy. On the day I stayed at the castle, it was over 90 degrees. Without AC and have to close the windows during night because of the rail road noice, the room became very hot. The room does have very good windows for sound barrier. When the windows were closed, no noise at all. So I suggest to stay at the hotel not during the summer when it's very hot unless you don't mind the noice. I can immaging when weather is cool it can be a very pleasent place to stay. The castle is very well maintained and has lots history. The visit to the castle is free for guests who stayed at the hotel. If it wasn't because of the hot weather, my state would be perfect.

Summary: This is a beautiful castle hotel overlooking the Rhine. The hotel and rooms are immaculate. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is excellent. The location is great if you have a car otherwise the train is fairly convenient but a long walk down the hill. The castle museum located on the property is amazing. Our room, while very pretty, was very small with no air conditioning. I would suggest requesting a room on the first floor because of this as well as there is no elevator. There was no where to put our luggage except on the floor. I requested a luggage stand and they brought me a small table to put it on. When we arrived, the staff was very helpful with carrying our bags to our 2nd floor room, however, when we checked out for an early flight, there was no one around and the reception was not open. Despite some of the negatives, the hotel is first class and beautiful.

Summary: This hotel is fantastic and very beautiful. The staff are the best and very professional. The afternoon tea was great with a full selection of small treats. The breakfast was excellent as well. This castle boasts a museum and the opportunity to explore which makes it a great place to visit with children even if just for the day. Of our 2.5 week trip to 3 countries, staying here was the highlight.

Summary: Wonderful staff. Great customer service at front desk and restaurant. My room (which was barely any more than others in the area) came with free breakfast, free castle entry, and free afternoon tea with sandwiches and sweets. We were upgraded to a suite with a balcony and views of the castle. Nothing bad to say about my stay.

Summary: Excellent location, great setting, very helpful staff and fantastic gourmet food. The 4 course meal was best food on our trip. Just like the last time we stayed here, all food was great Highly recommend and special thanks to servers who were very accommodating.

Summary: My kids and I stayed here. It was such a delight. There didn't seem to be much to do right in the small town where we were. The castle was perfect though for one night. We did the entire tour, had tea which was incredible, and then eventually had dinner which was also great. Breakfast too! We hiked around the town a bit and came back to hang out on site. If you stay for longer, make sure you check out the neighboring towns if you are looking for more to do. It is the Rhine for crying out loud, there is plenty if you have the time.
