Summary: Brief overnight stop. Decent enough room for the price. Not fancy or “corporate “ but the bed was a comfy single ( should have asked for another pillow - my mistake ), shower was hot and powerful enough and reception was polite and efficient.

Summary: Location wise, this could not be better. Staff were very helpful, breakfast was nice. The restaurant in the evening has a good selection of Swiss traditional dishes - otherwise you can cross the road and go to Loewen (which belongs to the hotel as well). Note that for late night check-in you need to call them so they can leave your room key in a safe box at the main entrance (dead easy).

Summary: The hotel was right across the street from the lake. Delicious breakfast and great location in a beautiful, quiet town. Would definitely recommend this hotel and if in the area I would stay here again!

Summary: friendly staff and fair breakfast, But there is several location of this hotel our room was across the street and the room was old, i felt like the bed was a prison cot. small and thin and uncomfortable, the shower and bathroom was fine.

Summary: So glad we decided to visit Brienz. This is a fabulous hotel with their terrific restaurant across the street with an outstanding view from the Terrace.

Summary: Check in was great (Sophia is very sweet), property is nice and food at the restaurant was really good. It is at the end of town so a lot of walking to get to the hotel and back to the main part of town. Also next to a church so if you don’t mind hearing the bell every 15 minutes (or you don’t like sleeping) it’s a good spot.
