Positive: I loved this place so much when I came in July that I came back a second time. Everything was just as perfect as it was before. The staff are kind and helpful. The hot breakfast is delicious. The neighborhood is beautiful, with plenty of nice restaurants and places to walk to. The subway is close, and is my preferred way to get to the center of the city. The hotel is beautifully decorated. The room (owl) was large, clean, and very comfortable. The coffee/tea/filtered water is a nice amenity.

Positive: We liked the Coyoacan area despite the distance from Roma and Condesa areas and appreciated the quiet street this inn is located on. Coming and going was easy with the pin pad. There is an excellent massage chair for guest use upstairs. We enjoyed the alebrije theme and the stories about what they represent.

Negative: We liked this hotel but would book a different room next time with a nicer bathroom area and further from the front desk. Ours didn’t feel quite worth the price we paid, but we saw other rooms that were nicer so be sure to compare the rooms carefully.

Positive: This was a nice property located close to the Center of Coyoacán. Nice room.

Negative: We were disappointed with the manager of the Hotel. He was a bit rude. Did not even say hi as we arrived. He was in the phone and did not even say hi. Even when he was done with the call , he did not even took a second to say hi or welcome us. We will not be back there ever again. It does not feel that he enjoys his work.

Summary: It is important to welcome people and treat them well, that is a key component of a pleasant stay in a hotel.

Positive: The staff was incredible. Gustavo treated us as if we were a guest in his home. It was really a special place. Breakfast came with our stay and it was really yummy. Also, coffee and drink bar was an amazing amenity!

Negative: The shower was hard to get into (in the Gorilla room) and the beds were a little firm for my liking. But it was minor, really.

Negative: Why does the door to the hallway have a gap below and above so you can hear everything happing in the hotel? Why does the staff show only interest in their mobile phones not the guests?
