Positive: Beautiful hotel within amazing scenery. The restaurant served high quality food for a reasonable price and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very very good!

Positive: Great location, lovely large room overlooking the river. Great in house restaurant. Friendly staff. Parking is free, nice bonus.

Negative: Servicing the room was not really up to standard, we got the impression it was a bonus when they do it. Our balcony deck needs some attention, little dated.

Positive: Great location, close to town but remote for unspoilt views over the mountains and just over from the Boka waterfall hike starting point. Wonderful healthy and fresh breakfast. Dinner in the restaurant was very nice. Staff friendly. Very reasonable laundry cost, not priced per item at extortionate rates thankfully so could get our hiking clothes washed which was great.

Negative: Couldn’t find the sauna that is shown in photos - but to be fair, we didn’t ask either!

Positive: Really relaxed and informal hotel with very friendly staff and excellent food in the evening. The breakfast was self- service with more than enough choice.

Negative: The hotel is well positioned for access to the Soca river but it some 4 miles from Bovec so it's a drive, walk or cycle if you want small town facilities. This wasn't a problem and there is a good quiet cycle route using the hotel's bikes.

Summary: exceeded our expectations - we felt quite at home!

Positive: The staff and breakfast were great, no problems at all. The hotel is a bit out of the way, but still fine if you're not getting there with public transportation. Lots of parking. Restaurant on-site. They have a heated towel rack and places to dry clothes if they're wet.

Negative: The room was not warm and took about 5 hours to warm up. They only had three bookings the night we were there, and it was quite cold outside, so this should've been taken into consideration. Our room had a lot of ladybugs and stinkbugs. I get that they go where it's warm when it's cold outside, but these insects might bother some people The wifi signal is very weak in the room. The connection can sometimes drop. There's not a tea or coffee maker in the room. They have one that everybody shares and you need to go downstairs to use it The shower is in need of renovation and is not reflective of the nightly price of this hotel

Summary: The facilities fall far short of 160+ euro/night prices, otherwise ok

Positive: The hotel itself is nicely designed, view of the mountain from the room and hotel terrace, friendly staff and comfortable room. There is a taster menu but also a la carte menu is possible. The food was very nice too. There is also an option to book river rafting, zip lining activities from the hotel. Hotel has generous parking space. The hotel is on a busy road but if you book a room with a Mountain View you do not hear the traffic.

Negative: The bathroom does smell of bleach, perhaps other cleaning materials could be used that are less toxic, It would be useful to actually read a food menu rather than be explained what is on offer.
