Positive: Friendly helpful staff / our room was small (historic building) but totally adequate / great breakfast / although no private parking, plenty of public parking immediately opposite the hotel / great access to the old town / value for money.

Positive: - The location was great, only a few minutes walk from the old city. - great breakfast and tasty home made yoghurt - lovely staff, very friendly and helpful - the room is nicely decorated and clean

Negative: - facilities are quite old, and the floor was noisy - there's a large public parking opposite to the hotel, however, the car park is only free from 7pm to 7 am, so we had to get up at 7 to pay for the parking (3 Franc per hour) - no lift, but luckily we travelled light. The stairs are small, it would be difficult to carry a big luggage up

Positive: The location is very good for tourists, just walking distance to all of the attractions. The girl at reception is very enthusiastic and helpful. The breakfast is good and special. Room is clean and quiet.

Negative: The bathroom is a little bit narrow.

Positive: Hotel Landhaus is nicely located near the river and the Bärenpark. From there Bus 12 connects to the train station every 6 minutes. The room we got was very quiet and roomy with a large couch. The hotel is in an old building and the style had been maintained in the rooms, yet they are totally comfortable. Staff was beyond friendly, breakfast superb. Really enjoyed our stay.

Negative: Cannot say that I missed anything.

Positive: The property was located on the edge of the city center near the bear park. It was so quiet and comfortable with beautiful river views. The staff was kind, and the breakfast was delicious. A Bern card was included with the stay, which was much appreciated!

Positive: Very good position so close to the barenpark. The receptionist and all staff was so lovely. They also gave us free public transport cards. The cheese at breackfast like in my deepest dreams. The room is full of style. The postcards! I loved spend the evening at the altes tramdepot bar nearby.

Negative: The absence of elevator sadly making the structure not very accessible. The pavemt of the room very crinkly but i think it was also part of the "boaty" atmosphere hahahah. Just a suggestion for the bathroom (bathroom was very clean but sadly there is no window) is to put an automatic deodorant or a stronger fan.

Summary: Felt like home i would have liked to stay more

Positive: A coffee machine in the hall and a sink in the room. The room and facilities were clean and well maintained.

Negative: The walls between rooms 203 and 204 are paper-thin. I could hear a neighbour snoring. Take ear plugs with you in case there is a wedding dinner downstairs on a Tuesday night... or in case wedding guests come out for a cigarette outside your windows. The breakfast looks pretty, very hipster-like, but it's a vegetarian cold breakfast: no meat, no eggs, no hot porridge, but plenty of bread, muslie and cut fruits. The host was upset that his breakfast selection was not appreciated by a non-vegetarian non-bread eater, who doesn't fancy fruits for breakfast. To be fair, the coffe was good and you get four preselected sliced of very nice cheese, however overall breakfast options can't be described as "superb" (it's misleading), as they don't cater for all dietary requirements.

Summary: I found the room not insulated well enough, and I left the hotel hungry in the morning.
