Positive: It was peaceful, a true sanctuary. It was amazingly beautiful and the staff was very concerned with all details.

Positive: A very beautiful place with plenty of space. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was wonderful, with a great view of the gardens. Overall, it was an excellent place to stay overnight, and I would happily recommend it.
Negative: The only downside is that the property is located off the main Camino de Santiago route. You'll need to take a taxi back to the Camino in Palas de Rei or walk an additional 2–3 hours. The road is paved and very quiet, so it's worth planning your transportation in advance. However, if you're looking for a peaceful setting away from the crowds, the location can also be a positive.
Summary: Great place just off the Camino de Santiago—well worth the detour!

Positive: Setting was lovely. Beautiful restoration of buildings.
Negative: The advertised facilities of steam room and sauna were very odd. An extra €25 euros per hour per person to use them. It was like a bathroom with a Turkish bath and jacuzzi bath that appeared to be unused. The sauna wasn’t on so would not have been available in time - so this facility should not really give you your extra star rating.

Positive: Jorge is an amazing manager and made me feel like an amazing guest. The room was super unique and very, very nice. Jorge also picked me up at Legunde and delivered me back the next day. The food was amazing and the bed was very comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel.
