Summary: We have used the Hotel Areca on numerous occasions and it's an absolute gem of a hotel. The staff are excellent, rooms are comfortable and the bar/restaurant offering is superb. Without doubt we always enjoy staying here.

Summary: Great hotel which we have stayed at several times. Staff helpful and pleasant. The rooms are clean and are of a satisfactory size. Breakfast buffet and restaurant offer very good food. Very convenient as its a short distance to airport, though one hardly notices the planes. The town in which the hotel is situated does not offer much to a traditional tourist.

Summary: The rating is definitely overrated, instead of a 9 I'll give a 7, the personal is super nice and helpful but the cleanliness of the shower and the amenities was not as expected form an hotel with such good reviews at least in Expedia.

Summary: The breakfast was really good, the people were all nice, and the dinner at the restaurant there was very good too. My bed was really comfy, and I enjoyed the whole environment. Sitting outside on the patio of the restaurant is soooo nice and peaceful in the early evening or during the day. 4/5 stars because it was loud during the day when I was trying to take a siesta, with people cleaning or working or something. Also I couldn't get the water fountain in the pool to work but other than that it was really nice.
