Positive: Standard business hotel that seems to be rather new. It had snacks and things for sale on the first floor. It is fairly close to the bus and train stops at Naruto Station, a large Daiso, a large drug store, and a few restaurants. The staff has very helpful and friendly.

Negative: The room was really, really small for two people, but that's normal for Japanese business hotels.

Positive: It was very clean and tidy. Not far from the train station too. It had some nice snacks and drinks for sale at reception. It was also not too expensive.

Negative: The room was ultra small, a little more than usual. I am used to Japanese rooms, and this was even smaller. The rooms don’t have much noise protection. The family staying next to my room had a baby who woke me up very early. I needed earplugs. The worst bit was a very uncomfortable moment when the staff refused to serve me breakfast. I asked the previous evening and a very nice staff member told me I only had to show up in the morning and ask for it. I do speak Japanese. But when I came in the morning, another young and not so friendly guy told me that if I did not request it the previous evening, I could not have breakfast. He said “muri” which is the key word for “go away” politely. The breakfast room was virtually empty and it was a buffet. There was no reason for him to not let have breakfast. Except I was the only foreigner in the hotel. I felt quite hurt and angry, being discriminated for not being Japanese. Even when I checked out, I could tell this young man did not feel comfortable even talking to me. It was humiliating. The staff the previous day was much nicer. Sadly I don’t think I’ll ever be back here only because of this experience. And I am a regular solo traveler in Japan, and I speak Japanese fluently. This doesn’t usually happen and it was unacceptable.

Positive: Nice design of the hotel, we could book the same da because we needed to cancel somewhere else. People were very friendly. In lobby they provide some drinks and snacks to buy. On each floor you can take extra blankets or different cushions youself, if you need something.

Negative: Musik on the corridor is too loud. you can hear it in the rooms at night. The room was very small.

Summary: Nice design place for one night.
