Positive: The location in an historic alley in central Macerata is interesting and convenient, the breakfast was filling and varied. More about the breakfast : the non-continental option included eggs and bacon, cured meat, pancakes and cheese. The continental option was also attractive - hadn't we been absolutely full, we would have enjoyed a few cakes and biscuits too. The bedroom was comfortable and clean, the shower was responsive and in perfect condition.

Negative: The only "drawback" was the view from the room - but I suppose that "facing a wall" in a crammed but charming city such as Macerata is unavoidable.

Summary: Charming, convenient, comforting breakfast

Positive: This hotel was great for our 2 nights in Macerata. They offer parking which is helpful although it's tight. Breakfast was a nice option to make mornings slow and casual. Owner even made fresh cappuccinos each morning. Happy with our decision to book there.

Negative: The rooms were a little sparse and the pillows were quite firm.

Summary: Fun hotel to stay at while visiting a town I studied in 20 years ago!

Positive: Once familiar with the location it was fairly convenient for sights,restaurants etc. Room comfortable with fridge and balcony overlooking street.Friendly staff.All I needed.

Negative: Location of property a little hard to find in windy layout of old narrow streets.Hotel not particularly attractive from outside.Street quite austere.
