Summary: This is a really cool hotel for this town. All the basic bones are great but without much traffic, felt like a low occupancy problem, things brake and are not replaced. Staff was very good but not a lot they can do except change rooms. ie; unable to drain sink, lever not connected to stopper / refig not cooling, nob broken. The TV was set up really odd, never was able to overcome that problem even with a room change.

Summary: A very nice locally owned hotel. We ate at the bar which was comfortable. It has a gorgeous courtyard to enjoy the outdoors. A welcome change from the cookie cutter of a chain stay.

Summary: Overall, this was a good stay and I would return, but plan on eating elsewhere. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak which was so salty that it was inedible. The coffee was really bad, and the breakfast could have been salvaged if they had waffle irons (like most hotels serving breakfast provide), some normal yogurt (not just 0 fat with fake sugar), or an adult cereal (not saying it needs to be kashi, but something besides Lucky Charms, Fruit Loops, and Honey Nut Cheerios—all too sweet. Even cornflakes or Rice Krispies would have been great). The food was also cold. They should spring for another coffee carafe so guests don’t have to walk through the lobby from the breakfast room to get it. On that note, they need a small garbage for the coffee area so you don’t need to carry your coffee waste as well as coffee with you the few feet to dispose of it. Probably nitpicking here, but these small things add up and are annoying when they are standard at other hotels. Other missed details which would have improved the stay: please provide door stops on the room doors, as well as “privacy please” door signs (never stayed at a hotel that didn’t have these). Microwaves in the rooms would have been great. Staff were wonderful for the most part.
