Summary: Good location. Comfy bed. Fan in room. Room wasn't cleaned properly with bits of tissue and spillage stains on the bathroom floor that just needed a mop to clean off. The towel was heavily stained (at least I hope they were stains).

Summary: Are stay was excellent starting at the reception desk with a very, very friendly young lady. Room was clean and beds and bathroom were excellent! We will return!

Summary: We only stayed for one night but we had a very friendly welcome at check-in. The room was equipped in traditional style (don`t expect mordern, reduced room style) and very clean. A bit outdated maybe but as expected from a traditional family owned city-hotel. We booked for breakfast and I have to admit that I haven`t expected such a huge selection buffet breakfast. It was extraordinary considering the price (April 24: 13,50€ per person). The location itself is perfect. In the middle of the city center in walking distance to the Residenz (app. 400m) and the pedestrian zone. The famous "Bürgerspital" (vinery, restaurant, wine tastings,...) is just around the corner. The hotel can offer reduced parking fee for the parking garage (50m from the hotel). Not sure if it was because we stayed during the weekend, but the Ludwigstrasse, where the hotel is located, was very quiet with very few traffic. We will definitely come back when we are visiting Würzburg the next time.

Summary: Very well maintained older property. Helpful staff. Nice breakfast selections at a reasonable price. The only thing missing is a bar, Enjoyed our stay and would go back. Thanks

Summary: Dated room. One socket isn't enough when people need to charge phones. Walls so thin that conversations in the next room can be heard easily - bring ear plugs. Refurbished bathroom was a positive. Expensive room for what it was.

Summary: The location is amazing,, the room was clean and quiet and comfortable,, there was no free parking even if they said that in their description,, I parked in a paid parking garage nearby,, you need to book for the breakfast in exact time and that’s possible if you don’t know when you’re going to wake up so I didn’t like that

Summary: I had a lovely solo stay at Hotel Amberger. It’s a well-maintained, peaceful, and clean old-style hotel with courteous staff and delicious breakfast. The train station and city centrum are easily accessible on foot in 10-15 min. And I loved that there was a nice Italian restaurant immediately next door that is open daily until 10 pm, past many other restaurants‘ closing times. I think Hotel Amberger may be my favorite of the affordable and centrally located hotels I have tried in Würzburg.
