Summary: For the price paid, top notch! We know, nearly winter but hotel very nice, warm and recently refurbished. We had a beautiful 2 day stay. Good breakfast (incl.) and friendly service. Ample walking tracks and wood around the hotel. Only a short walk to the center of Bergen. We will be back!

Summary: Beautiful, quiet location in wooded area on the edge of Bergen. Am Rugard is modern but full of character (rebuilt in the same style as the original which dated back to the late 1800s). Excellent value accommodation, good service and superb food in the restaurant. Would definitely go back if in the area.
