Positive: The hotel is in an exceptional location in Cochem really close to the train station on feet and also by car while the hotel also offers a restaurant with good food. I believe it’s a bit pricey but this is basically because of the location and Germany in general. However the staff was polite, friendly and really nice and helpful with anything we needed.

Positive: Good location, although tourist boats on the Rhein were making noise playing music out loud. Otherwise perfect

Negative: Firstly, the hotel advertises that it has parking. Well, you need to find it on the street. Then been told that my payment hasn't gone through and has to pay on the spot - in fact, I've been charged twice and needed to contact Booking for a refund. The room - mould on the walls, broken bathroom tap. Poor breakfast

Positive: Balcony and view excellent. Distance from town was perfect and breakfast was good, with a good selection or food

Negative: Very disappointed that whilst they provided a small bottle of water and tea and coffee as a welcome gift, it was not replenished during a 3 night stay and for 150euros a night its a very simple and cheap thing to continue for guests to enjoy. Having dropped something, under the bed was not clean at all and our socks were dirty after walking on the floor.
