Summary: We stopped over on our train trip to Geneva and enjoyed the Glacier Train that passes through town. The hotel was very clean, no carpet, modern bath, a small balcony, free internet in lobby, very nice breakfast included in the low rate. The sauna is an additional charge. The hotel paid for our taxi fare both ways to the train station. The hotel was almost too Swiss with a very plain central stairway that echoed from the lack of warm details. Also, it is in town, something that surprised us based on the photo. A very good overall value, and we would stay again.

Summary: The decor was a 1990's version of modern- cute if you like a minimalist and slightly zany esthetic. The mattress was extremely thin and generally small by US standards, but every hotel we stayed at in Switzerland had a version of the same thing. Free parking was great and it was fairly easy to make our way over to the train to Zermatt from here.
