Positive: Beautiful property!
Negative: It's a nice hotel, but extremely overpriced! To make matters worse everything is extra, even something as simple as a bottle of water is not included. There's also no coffee machine in the rooms, which is something that's fairly standard in a hotel nowadays. Instead, you get instant coffee packets, which are more common in 3rd world countries, than a $500 per might hotel room. It's a beautiful property, but definitely not a good value and not worth the price!

Positive: The restaurant and bar were delicious.
Negative: The quality of towels and paper products were not as expected. I found it on the cheaper end for such an expensive hotel. A tad disappointed the bath towels were thin and harsh cotton. The toilet paper also was possibly 2 ply but harsh to the skin too. I think these area need to be reviewed and upgraded.
Summary: Too expensive but beautiful furniture and decor. Just need to have better quality bath towels and paper products in the

Positive: Check in was smooth. The front desk man was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and had a joyful attitude.

Negative: Our room location was not ideal for what we paid. The window looked out to a phone pole and we faced the delivery alley that had trucks delivering at 8 in the morning

Positive: We loved every second of our stay at Hotel 1928. Every square inch feels thoughtfully designed and perfectly taken care of. You can see the special touch in every detail, and the staff is incredibly friendly. Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant on the first floor were delicious, and ending the night with a drink on the rooftop bar overlooking all of Waco was truly wonderful.

Negative: In my room the vanity mirror was not attached to the wall and you were able to see the holes where the mirror used to be, any way they provided an additional vanity mirror regardless
