Summary: Beautiful location, warm and attentive service, very good room ('junior suite', but modestly priced). Restaurant excellent - though, as elsewhere in Switzerland, very expensive by UK standards.

Summary: Love L’Abbaye and the valley de Joux! Nice and isolated location, yet well connected and with all the essentials. Just what I needed for my 3-day stay. BUT! Wifi was terrible... The signal didn’t reach the upper floors (of a 4-level building?). Even when in the lobby, wifi was spotty at best and the hotel hosts saw it as an unimportant occurrence, offering neither solutions nor apologies. Such a shame. I can’t wait for the new Hotel des Horlogers in Le Brassus to open.
