Positive: When we arrived to Las Palmas, we were told, that our room there has been given to somebody else - all rooms were occupied and the lady followed us to another hostel, Avalon - where she had made a reservation for us. We had been looking forward to the pool, so we were a little annoyed- but we accepted it for one night.

Positive: This accommodation definitely exceeded my expectations!! It is an oasis in Vilcabamba with a very friendly hostess and two happy dogs and a cat. There is a pool and a kitchen on site and it was quiet and comfortable at night. This is definitely the place to stay when you visit Vilcabamba ☀️
