Positive: we had such a great time staying here for 2 night! the hosts are super frinedly and sweet, we got breakfast super early because we were heading to machu picchu which was so kind! the location is very good and quiet:-)

Positive: Low season I had the dorm to myself. Hot shower. Price is good and close to the laundry services. Lady host was engaging and the man host was helpful.

Negative: I felt like I was being monitored, especially in the evening. Eg I went outside in the evening to use the bathroom (the bathroom is in a separate structure) and one of the owners immediately came out from their bedroom like a watchman. The water gets turned off in the evening. So I had to use my water bottle to wash my hands after the toilet. Not ideal. Skip the breakfast. I got a cold coffee, stale bread with a tiny banana and jam. Their angsty man child on the premise who was cold and rude.

Summary: Good price, clean, poor breakfast, with low season tension

Positive: I was treated with such kindness by Julia, even with the language barrier we were able to communicate and she was so helpful. The outdoor sitting area was very cute and the bathrooms were functional!

Negative: The pillows were small, thankfully I was able to use another one from another bed that wasn’t being used.

Positive: Super clean, great location, perfect staff - who kindly offered us tea and coffee when we arrived and gave us perfect tips, and helped us in every little thing. La sen̈ora Julia was amazing, so kind and helpfull and intresting to get to know. I really am happy I chose to stay there. Thank you! Yuli

Positive: The hosts we're very friendly and welcoming. The facilities are basic but the bedroom and washrooms were clean. They have a outdoor lounge in the courtyard with a great view of the mountains.

Negative: The washroom and showers were across the courtyard from the bedroom.

Positive: Many thanks to the couple who hosted me. They were really lovely! Very comfy bed. Just be careful as Cusco region during dry season sometimes has watercut.

Negative: The place could be a bit tricky to find. It is the big red gate right across El Castillo de Leoncito. Here a picture hopefully helpful
