Positive: The location was good for one night when we drove from Kumamoto to Fukuoka, has free parking, was ok for one night.

Negative: The beds were not comfortable, just a foam and very weird pillows (either too flat or crunchy). The shower room was moldy, one pipe did not work. Was very noisy with the wind outside and the windows were rumbling. It was too pricey for what was offered.

Summary: Ok for one night, too pricey for what it offered.

Positive: Familiarity and casual ways were refreshing to me.

Negative: The casual and easygoing stay made up for the sub-standard water, fixtures in the bath sinks and kitchen fixtures still working g butold style not upgraded since the1970's Everything worked okay, hot water was VERY hot but the whole bath faucet was loose. The disinfectant in the toilet were so very toxic smelling again, from the70s, that I didn't want to walk into the urinal room!

Summary: Outmoded, almost working, need upgrade.

Negative: Many serious upgrades are required for fixtures, hot water system, faucets and kitchen wares.They all look like they came from some post WWII movies of re-building Japan!!

Positive: Spacious, yet old, house, nestled near rice paddies in the middle-of-nowhere. Quiet, antique charm of former Showa-era family residence. Kitchen area had aircon, TV, and was communal. Board games were a win for kids! Small bath towels provided. Nearby 道の駅 • service area within walking distance, with paddle pool and some snacks and groceries. and Cosmos and some other stores a bit further.

Negative: First night we stayed in separate double/twin rooms and neither had aircon. Family room on second night did though, thankfully. Kitchen has aircon though. Only one toilet for multiple parties. Kitchen recycling options were confusing. Needs more bins for separating clean paper and burnables. 生ゴミ• kitchen waste was not cleared out during the 3 days we were there - it was full and slimy. Another relaxing communal space with aircon, couch, table and TV could be beneficial when more than one group staying.

Positive: The staff seems helpful but the place was not the cleanest I saw. Also there was no sheets on the beds, and it looked like we had a room that was used for the family and quickly emptied for us.

Negative: No bedsheets on the bed, that is not correct. For the same price I had clean rooms. So a cheap price doesn’t mean you will have no beds furnitures, or I wouldn’t have booked here.
