Positive: Beautiful rooms (excellent bedding with traditional woven blankets), lovely courtyard and beautiful gardens right in the heart of the town, not too far from the central market. Great breakfast and the most friendly and helpful staff.

Positive: Amazing family stay in this beautiful decorated hotel in Otovalo town centre. Extremely kind staff, very comfortable beds in very clean bedrooms, delicious breakfast, all for very affordable cost! A peaceful hotel with a secret lush garden full of pretty flowers and trees, we spotted few hummingbirds! Less than 10min walk to La plaza de Ponchos, market and restaurants. Highly recommended

Positive: The breakfast was outstanding, and the coffee was delicious. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and did everything they could to make sure I enjoyed my stay. And I did.

Positive: All the staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room had beautiful bright paintings. The breakfast was beautiful especially the bread which was easily the best I've had in south America. Fresh with a beautiful crunchy exterior and soft and fresh on the inside. All in all a really cosy homely place to stay.

Positive: We had a wonderfull stay at Riviera Sucre. Especially because of the staff, they were friendly, helpfull and in for a chat. There was always someone available. The hostal is beautiful with lots of color and plants. The location is perfect, in the centre, but inside the hostal it does not feel like that. It is not far from the Playa de Ponchos where the market is, and also walkable to the busstation. Many nice comedores, (good!) coffeebars (go to tayta wasi!) and panaderias close. The rooms area very spacious and they even offered to clean it during our stay. Breakfast was good!
Negative: The cushions were quite stiff, but we had our own travel ones, so we did not ask for different ones.
Summary: Buenissima!
