Summary: Staff is very friendly and helpful. They even helped me to solve a private matter for a friend of mine. Rooms are big and clean. And are cleaned every day.

Summary: The hostal is really nice, very neat and clean. The owner and her son were friendly and super helpful. The hotel is a few kilometres from Trinidad and at the same time close to the sea, even if we were not able to go to the beach because of time issues. Excellent and rich breakfast, with the possibility to park the car in front of the hotel. Hostal Puerto Casilda proved to be a simple but authentic location, which we highly recommend.

Summary: They are a very friendly, honest, and helpful family. They speak several languages, including German. We could barely have gotten along without their assistance in booking a flight and getting Internet access. Note that currently, bring dollars or euros to pay them and anything else. The exchange into pesos is complex and a ripoff introduced by the cash-strapped government in a declining economy.

Summary: Lovely place to stay and they have great activity options. It is very cheap to get to Trinidad and the coast from here so highly recommend!

Summary: The charming owner was very helpful with arranging transportation, diving, etc. Restaurants and the beach are a 5-10 minute walk.

Summary: lovely little house between Trinidad and Playa Ancon. Taxis readily available for the short journey to either. A short walk to a tremendous restaurant The tours run from the house (by the son who spoke excellent English) were fascinating and informative over the history and politics (including current) of Cuba. restaurants recommended in Trinidad were lovely and we wished we had more time to eat at them again. And of course the music! Overall a tremendous stay.

Summary: Our stay at Casa Los Rubios was a delight! Alberto and Sonia were very attentive. They helped us to organise a hiking trip, rent bikes and arrange our onward accomodation in Playa Largo. We had a beautiful view of the mountains from our room and enjoyed a well stocked fridge of beer!

Summary: Trinidad was the perfect mix of beach, city and relaxing in Cuba. We loved every minute at Hostal Puerto Casilda. George gave a wonderful walking tour of the city. The entire family was above and beyond accommodating with food, drinks, and taxi rides to town and beach for the day! Would highly recommend staying at their large comfortable home. The pool was the cherry on top during our hot May visit!
