Positive: In a perfect location for El Cangrejo. Quiet street but only 1 block away from Via Argentina with all of the activities there. You are also 2 blocks away from Via Espana and the metro line as well as public bus service. Manuel IS THE BEST!!! He is a great resource for almost anything you might want to know, he seems to know about everything going on in the city (and probably in the country but I didn't ask). Our Spanish is very poor but his English is perfect. The facilities are more like a small Inn than what most would consider as a hostel. The room was spacious. The internet was strong (we were able to work with no interruptions or a need to hotspot). The kitchen is well stocked although all we did was breakfast. We will definitely stay again and we recommend it.

Negative: This isn't a dislike, it is just information. Each room has its own airconditioning unit and if you are an especially light sound sleeper you may want to have some earplugs. There is also a feline family member of the hostel, so just be aware. My husband suffers from allergies but he had no issues whatsoever (and he is sensitive but the stay was without any problems).

Summary: Great Stay! Lovely facilities, fantastic location, great owners who will help you.

Positive: Nice quiet and well located Hostel that feels more like a guest house. Located in a quiet street very close to lots of restaurants, cafes, tiendas, outlet stores and the metro station. The owner Manuel is very friendly, helpful and great communication. The room was very spacious and had A/c and a nice big window for fresh air with insect screen. The WiFi was also very good and the kitchen handy for preparing food. I would definitely stay here again.

Negative: A ceiling fan would have been nice so as not to use the A/C as often.
