Positive: Bedrooms were a good size. It was nicely decorated though the dark walls sapped the light.

Negative: The bathroom needed a deep clean.

Summary: It was a nice stay and perfect location for a wedding at a nearby venue. Communication was good.

Positive: Booked the cottage for a family wedding and it was perfect,location was great. The cottage was beautiffuly decorated and had everything we needed. Own parking spot at the back.

Negative: Only one little niggle,big waggons started passing really early so take ear plugs

Negative: There were a lot of cobwebs in the corners of most rooms and dust around some ornaments, the kitchen bin was far too small and the cooker needed a deep clean as it started to smoke when we turned it on.

Positive: Lovely place, and very comfortable Excellent facilities with a well equipped kitchen. Lots of wood in the coal shed for the fire which was nice. Short drive to Kielder Forest which was the purpose of our visit. Would definitely stay again.

Negative: A couple of small things which are by no means game charngers. The, shower screen is a little short so a little water can get onto the bathroom floor. There was a coffee machine which was a lovely extra but the supplied pods didn't fit. Again nothing to upset your stay though.

Negative: Frying pan requires changed. Shower screens bottom hinge needs sorting. Second bedroom door catch not working. Cooker grill was dirty and there was no cleaning sponge to use. Landing light kept turning itself off. All in all the house was very comfortable and and we would recommend it to anyone. Most of what we have mentioned was trivial to us but we thought we should tell you.

Positive: We visited Percy Cottage over New Year and as expected, Otterburn was chilly! Despite this, the property was warm, cosy and homely throughout our stay, even without us using the Log fire. The kitchen was well appointed and the property as a whole was very well maintained - it really gave us a feel of a home away from home. Directions for checking in and out were very clear - parking is available for a car behind the property. I would recommend the Otterburn Village Trail, starting at the Otterburn Mill, to anyone interested in a steady walk - although wear suitable footwear for mud if there has been rain. During our stay we visited the William De Percy in the Village and The Redesdale Arms which was 5-10 minutes drive away, both for food and drinks. Would recommend The Redesdale Arms - the staff were welcoming, the food was good, prices were reasonable and the view was fantastic. We really enjoyed our stay - thank you!

Positive: Lovely cottage with pretty much everything you need for a comfortable stay. Nicely located for a visit to Kelder Forest and Lake. Very spacious and within walking distance to a Premier shop to get any essentials you may need.

Negative: There was nothing I didn’t like about this property.

Positive: - Stunning decor and cleanliness of the house - Secluded off road parking - Wood and coal available for the fire in the lounge - Great location as it was down the road from where our friend was getting married

Negative: - Just a watch out but the stairs are very steep! - Extra charge asked about a week before of £30 not included in inital payment
