Positive: So much room but felt cozy and comfortable. The eat in kitchen was great as were the views from the windows there and some of the upstairs bedrooms. Well equipped kitchen with a nice welcome flowers and bread. So fun watching the cows and sheep against the backdrop of then beacons. Well located for many day trips we had in mind. Four bedrooms would comfortably hold 9 guests (we had 5 with plenty of room). I enjoyed the bathtub and the skylight in my bedroom. Definitely recommend.

Negative: It was a little hard to find at first and difficult to get in and out or by car but we managed.

Summary: A great place to stay - felt like home.

Positive: Absolutely outstanding property. Loved the cows and the sunny little reading nook in one of the bedrooms. Has a beautiful feel about it. Close to everything. Enjoyed reading about the history of the house’s owners. Would go back in a heartbeat.

Positive: We had a lovely stay at Penrheol Farmhouse. We were six adults and two young children - and it is spacious, homely and really clean. The rooms are big, beds are comfortable, linen so fresh and clean, big bathrooms, all the things in the kitchen you would need for preparing and cooking, and plenty of space. The location and views are beautiful. We walked to the local pub via the path in the fields which was lovely. A short drive to Brecon town. Communication was great and the the host was very kind and left us cake, fresh milk, tea, coffee and also logs for a very cosy fire. Thank you and we will definitely be returning :-)

Negative: Nothing to dislike - we had a wonderful stay.

Positive: we used the property as a base for a construction job we were working on, we always prefer to stay in a house together rather than seperate rooms in a Travelodge etc. great showering facilities and a spacious property.

Negative: access into the property of a steep grass path, if this was stoned or had steps it would be safer all round, I would imagine in really wet weather it would get a bit dangerous.
