Summary: Its position on the beach makes it worth paying extra for a room with a sea view. I did that at check-in and I felt it was money well spent. I've been three times to the Continental and the staff are always cheerful and helpful and the breakfasts, particularly the buffet, is excellent. Parking is easy if you go slightly off season, and if you don't have a car, there is a local bus service that stops right in front of the hotel gardens and car park making access to everywhere else easy.
