Positive: Close to family and friends who we spent time visiting- very close to pubs cafes and restaurants that we like to visit- good choice of local takeaways- within a mile of M1 motorway only 3 miles to Wakefield centre- very cozy and most things required on site - lovely friendly village- would definitely stay again.

Positive: The house was ideally located - I was travelling for a funeral and the church was just around the corner so was able to walk there on the day. The main street was close by too which was handy for shops / cafes. The house itself was lovely - nicely decorated and warm and the bed was really comfy. I really liked the Kitchen which had a nice homely feel to it. Rachel (the landlady) had left milk in the fridge together with tea and coffee which was a nice touch.

Negative: I had a small issue with the lock on the new door that had been fitted which left me unable to get into the property temporarily on the day of the funeral. However I called Rachel and she was able to get it resolved quickly which was much appreciated. The bathroom didn't have hand gel / shower gel - maybe that is something that could be considered for future guests.
