Positive: Location had a great view, there were a number of opportunities to enjoy the stay, The rooms were adequate, clean, and functional, the price was decent, and we enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was good with scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, bacon, sausage, meatballs, and sauteed potatoes and onions, and a few types of sandwich meats and jams, but it was not a luxurious breakfast. But we definitely left with our hunger satisfied.

Negative: When taking a shower, pretty much the entire bathroom floor got wet, due to only a glass half-wall and a floor with improper drainage once the water made it outside. HINT: Request at least one extra bath towel to keep the water from running out, and to wipe up the water that does escape anyway! There was some road construction in progress outside the hotel, but no activity during our weekend stay. The advertised breakfast hours per the web site (7-10 AM, 8-11 AM weekends) did not match what was posted at the hotel (7-9 AM), but the food was still available well after 9 AM, so it didn't wind up being an issue for us.

Summary: Cozy, Location+, Views+, We expect to visit the area again, and plan to book here again when we do.

Positive: Breakfast was buffet and offered the basics like cereal, yoghurt, decent coffee, boiled eggs, bread, jam. Lovely view of the garden . Lovely views from the restaurant windows/terrace. Haakon at the bar was great.

Negative: I felt hemmed in as my room was in the ‘basement’ and I couldn’t open the window properly. Did feel like a hotel that holds conferences. Needs updating

Positive: The personnel at the hotel were very good. super service all the way. the room was a little small and difficult to find at first, but the bed was fine. the breakfast was ok. the view from the hotel was magnificent, strange to find an hotel like this just above a normal residential area. didn't suspect that from the booking ad. Really enjoyed our stay

Negative: a bit too small room for two people, no chairs so had to sit on the bed. stayed in the restaurant / lobby instead

Summary: really enjoyed it.
