Enjoy the peace and serenity at this very secluded cabin in the woods. While this cabin is modeled after the "tiny homes" it has a spacious layout! The master bedroom has a queen size bed and has gorgeous views of the woods. There is an extra wide hallway that holds a bunk bed. The loft (which is only about 4' tall) offers floor style beds & a TV which is perfect for lounging and kids. Active HoneyBee Hive Boxes on Premises. Across from Lake Huron. Cabin is on 30 acres- perfect for nature hikes!

Summary: We were in the area to release our school's sturgeon at nearby Black River and we decided to make a getaway out of it - this cabin was perfect for our needs, a lovely small place with a fire ring, a quiet setting, near the release site, and within spitting distance of Lake Huron. We were able to relax, rest, watch the bees from the living room window, and even have a cookout. We were near enough to visit family in Alpena and to pick up what we needed for groceries in Cheboygan. The property was tidy and well maintained, the owner was very easy to get in touch with, and my kids absolutely loved the loft that they made their own little hideaway. All in all it turned out to be the perfect place for our vacation and to relax after the nearly-5-hour journey from home with a live rare fish in the back of the car. We would absolutely stay here again.

Summary: We absolutely loved staying at Honeybee Farms. The cabin was beautiful and very clean. We enjoyed using the grill and the fire pit. Though described as a “tiny” home build I would say it is still pretty spacious! Kayla was quick to respond when we needed anything. I would highly recommend staying here!

Summary: My two adult sons and I thoroughly enjoyed the cabin! Everything was clean and neat. There was plenty of space for us, and my sons enjoyed sleeping and playing video games in the loft. We were in town for a family reunion, and most of our family was camping at Hoeft State Park. The cabin was a short drive to the campground, so it was very convenient. There is a lot to do in the area. We enjoyed swimming and beach volleyball at Hoeft, the 40-Mile Lighthouse, the limestone quarry in Roger's City, and ice cream at The Painted Lady. We had a great time and would definitely return!
