Summary: A real french house in a quiet neighborhood near the highway. The hostess is immediately ready for you if you have any questions. A rustic bakery within walking distance. Great base to not have to stand in traffic jams to enter La Rochelle; visiting can also be done by bike. Well maintained swimming pool in a garden which is completely closed; our dog loved to walk around and we had no stress; she couldn't dissapear. Attention to the environment by closing waste separation. Parking space for more than 1 car. French beds, so narrow. Some minor maintenance things can be done, but not necessarily. We enjoyed being there!

Summary: The house has 4 good size bedrooms, and a great garden and pool. Open plan downstairs with kitchen at the front and dining tables, inside and on terrace at the back, makes it easy to cook and eat together. However, we were made to pay deposit to owner by bank transfer to her personal account, weeks before arrival. We lost value on the deposit just due to the change in exchange rates. The booking is done through an agency, but they refused to take a deposit (as would be usual) on a credit card, which would have meant no additional cost to us.
