Positive: Great host, cheaper than nearby options, car for hire, free breakfast and other meals available on demand, located in the middle of the forest with a great forest view. Locations on the east side are easily accessible.

Negative: For individual travellers, it's a great place. However, we travelled with a baby and it's a bit daunting to drive towards the west side with the baby. The room could be a bit cleaner/organised (it's relevant but not a great inconvenience, the rain probably didn't help the damp feeling).

Positive: Lovely cottage,very homely had all the facilities we could have wanted. Need a motorbike as slightly far from main town but I lovely ride to get there. Host is super friendly and very accommodating. Would love nothing more than to stay again!

Positive: We stayed in the cottage and it was a great stay, we loved it! Great price for a great home like space. The owner is also amazing and will go out of her way to make your stay enjoyable. I’d say you need to be able to ride a motorbike if you are staying here though!

Positive: If you are looking for a VERY remote retreat (or a place to hide) this is your spot. Completely tucked away IN the jungle. You really feel like you are sleeping in the jungle, which has its beauty and experience for sure. The host who owns and runs the property is extremely kind, warm and positive. She is an amazing cook as well! She made us a local dish and a great breakfast on her porch. It really feels like staying at someone’s home rather than a bed and breakfast. Most people who were staying there seemed to be staying for awhile. Definitely an experience, and feels very authentic to Koh Chang. She also offered us a ride across the island in her car for a small price which was great.

Negative: The first thing we noticed was it was NOT where it was on the booking map. We were hoping for a place across from the beach, and this was well into the jungle, at the end of a very very bumpy dirt road (Indiana Jones style). But if you want to be in the remote jungle, this is the perfect spot. Sadly, there was mold on the ceiling of our room. Not the cleanest. There were some mosquitos (as expected). Her dog isn’t very welcoming, barks a lot, but not dangerous. If you have an aversion to dogs, I would say not the place for you. Overall, it’s hard to be negative because the host is so sweet and accommodating, but we wish we knew all of this before booking as it’s not easy to get in and out of.
