Summary: Our marine son just got back from deployment and is stationed in NC. We are from GA, my mother-in-law resides in AL. This place provided a gathering point for us to all be together for Thanksgiving. The home is beautiful. There was plenty of room. Early morning coffee in the library/sitting room was pleasant. We enjoyed the big back yard and winding down in the evenings by the fire pit. My husband’s favorite part was that we were all able to gather around the dining room table.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay. We felt at home and the kitchen was very well equipped. We did some white water rafting and boating on the lake. Was always nice to come back to this place to unwind. Good amount of friendly wasps on the porch as well as ants getting in the kitchen. Windows could use a cleaning as well. I brought it to the owners attention and he said he was going to handle it. Owners communication was great! Would stay again!

Summary: Property is renovated and in a nice country setting. Overall, it was clean with a few areas needing some help. The listing showed a hot tub, but there isn't a hot tub on the property, and we noticed later there isn't one in the pictures. Overall, a nice rental with an accessible, friendly host. Perfect place for a large get together with family and friends.
