Lake front property on Lake Shafer. this home has 120 feet of lake front. great place to swim and dock your boat. Home has two large patios one with a outdoor fireplace and the other a great place for sun tanning. Both overlooking the lake. Imagine relaxing on the patio drinking your beverage and eating your favorite grilled masterpiece while watching the sun set in the distance over the lake.
Inside you have three nice size bedrooms two with queen beds and one with a king bed with its own bathroom. you also have a pull out couch that will sleep two nicely and an additional couch that is awesome to sleep on. there is also a love seat that a small child could sleep on also.
Family room has 42 in tv over the top of the fire place with a surround sound and dvd player.
Very nice full kitchen with all the items needed to cook the dinner of your choice also a gas grill just outside on the patio. diswasher, microwave, toaster, coffee maker

Summary: Very nice and clean.

Summary: This was advertised as sleeping 9. It does not. It is a lake cottage of modest size. Even with five adults you would be bumping elbows. No dressers in any bedroom, but there are closets. No laundry machines. Two 12” pantry shelves to fit your kitchen supplies or food. All other cabinets stuffed with mismatched cookware, plates & drinkware. Deck was nice but all furniture well covered in bird droppings that were not recent. I spent first morning of vacation going to Walmart 25 mins away to buy a bucket & scrub brush to clean deck furniture. Owner responded with a skeptical “sorry” 4 days later.Food crumbs & popcorn in creases of couches. Floors dirty. Not what you expect given steep cleaning fee.

Summary: Was a great time, was not sure which house it was , neighbors helped us. Everything in the house was great and worked out very well for us. Just was not sure what all we should do upon departing with bedding and towels and things like that.

Summary: We have stayed at this property 3-4 years now always enjoy staying there and will continue to stay there. Very quiet area and nice property, and always have great communication with the property owner. Thanks again for having us.

Summary: Good layout inside and back decks were nice. But there is no curb appeal and when you shower smells like rotten eggs not sure if that is from well water. Was not mentioned on the website. Nice drive from Purdue University but longer than expected all back roads.
