Positive: Superb location right on the sea front, access to free coffee in the reception area, good food, attentive and friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, quiet room, early check in

Negative: Mediocre cleanliness in the room, dusty surfaces, a kettle which looked like it had it had mold in the bottom, the hallways and room could do with a fresh lick of paint

Positive: Our room was clean and cozy. I loved how Clarion maintains the homey feeling in its hotel design. Our toilet was clean and modern which is always appreciated as I have been to more expensive hotels with moldy bathrooms. I love how there is free coffee in the hotel lobby and a small bar to cap the night. Jens, the front desk personal was lovely to talk to and assisted us from my frantic parking phone call to loaning mobile phone chargers. Kudos to great customer service!

Negative: The hotel is currently undergoing renovations and I was not keen on leaving the hotel building to get my breakfast and dinner in another building. Though it was a short walk, the cold February winter air was not too forgiving. I am sure everything will be perfrct once they move the whole dining experience in-house again.

Positive: Very helpful and friendly staff, great breakfast. Comfortable bed and good bathroom facilities. Room was right on the water and door opened to a little deck. Very nice, although the weather prevented us from fully appreciating it. Convenient to the walled town and the university.

Negative: Downsides: Small room, and shortage of storage space, we mostly lived out of a suitcase. There was a desk and chair, but the orientation made it difficult to access the bathroom or the front door when someone was sitting at the desk. Dinner was also provided with the room, and was --- meh!
