Summary: Clean comfortable and not mass market- great place to stay, 20 minute walk to market square at the docks and plenty of interesting restaurants in the immediate area. Breakfast buffet amazing (and included). Dinner also included but is a one- option affair so may want to skip especially if vegetarian.

Summary: This historic hotel has character, with special touches everywhere. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is quite a spread! The hotel also includes dinner, though we arrived too late to partake. It is a sprawling property, requiring many (likely most) guests to go outdoors and in again to get to the rooms. The hotel is very convenient to all the shops and sights in Helsinki. We walked to the waterfront, then caught a tram on the way back.

Summary: Nice hotel. Very interesting character. Nice staff. But my rooms toilet was not clean. There was something caked onto the toilet seat. I had to clean it myself. Gross! The staff at front were very nice, helpful. Loved the sauna. But the sauna room was a little messy with towels on floor. Cleanliness & tidiness needs work at this place. Good food in restaurant though.
