Positive: Clean, comfortable, excellent facilities as well as a view into the cow shed if you are interested. I was fascinated. The area is lovely. We booked for Stranrear Oyster Festival but the local gardens and beaches were great to visit. Will definitely be back.

Positive: There was a lot to like about this property. The accommodation itself was lovely. Our favourite part was the view of the cow shed. We were obsessed with the cows. The entire place was fully booked with big parties but it was not noisy at all. The tearoom at Glenwhan Gardens was really nice as well and just a short walk away.

Negative: We found it hard to find initially. It’s not well sign posted. The hot tub does not get hot. Day 1 it only got to 32 degrees and that was at 11pm. Day 2 after being on since 9am it was finally at 37 degrees at 10pm which went down quickly once the lid was off.

Summary: Lovely property. Good location. Hot tub disappointing.

Positive: I loved the fact the windows looked in to the cow barn. It was quirky. The bedroom was big and spacious. The hot tub, spa bath and wood burning fire were all great extras.

Negative: It is very rural but we were fine with that. Plenty of places to visit round about. We went to The Mull of Galloway Lighthouse and Portpatrick for day trips then chilled in the hot tub at night.
