Positive: The place was so lovely.. really quiet and nice we could just get on and do what we wanted but was able to contact host if needed. Lots of useful info in the book aswell. The beds were very comfy.. great amenities and just a perfect and pretty little lodge.
Negative: A good clean needed under the bed but was dealt with very promptly by the host as soon as she was made aware.
Summary: A really lovely place to stay and a great location.

Positive: Beds are very comfortable, and the coffee Nespresso was perfect. Very quite surroundings, you are in the middle of the nature. And within 30 minutes drive you can visit various nice cities like Bath, Bristol and Glastonbury
Negative: The outside of the lodge needs attention, wood work is starting to rott and the are a lot of cobb webs and dirt. Terrace at the back was not well kept, and the picknick table was nice but needs a small make-over, as the paint was getting off. The oven was not kept at all, a lot of smoke came from it when heated. The ventilation in bath room was very filthy, same goes for shower head. Also, a bit more plates and glasses would have been nice, we had the dishwasher running half empty every day (doing the dishes ourselves is not our hobby). We had to raise some issues at our arrival (cobb webs in the house, bed sheet not clean), but these ware handled by the hosts immediately. The lodges are also used to host (building) workers, this of course entirely the choice of the hosts, but this does not contribute to a real holiday feeling.
Summary: Good starting point to visit surroundings but the lodges need more love and attention from the owner

Positive: The setting is stunning, nestled in the middle of the beautiful countryside on the side of a hill - it felt tucked away and private but close enough to the village and neighbouring towns. The lodge itself is spacious, warm and cosy. A well equipped kitchen and clean bathroom. We had a really comfortable stay. Some lovely touches including a bird watching book and binoculars, welly stand and digital flame effect fire. The decor was lovely - very homely.
Negative: Very happy with everything.
Summary: We would definitely recommend staying here.
