Positive: Friendly landlady. Quiet area. Good place for hiking. Very warm and cozy. Nice view.

Negative: There was no washing machine, but the landlady offered to do the laundry for us. Stove needs to be cleaned and frying pans need to be replaced: totally scratched.

Positive: This is an absolute gem of a place to stay. It is so peaceful in a great location. The barn is immaculate lots of care and attention is given to it and it is spotless. We could not of asked for a better place to stay. Nothing is too much trouble for the owner, she goes above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. We highly recommend this place and have already booked to come back next year and cannot wait. Thank you so much for our wonderful stay.

Positive: Clean, well equipped. Reclining sofa particularly welcome as due to poor weather we spent more time indoors than we wanted.

Negative: We’d have preferred firmer and fuller pillows on bed but recognise that people have a wide range of preferences.

Summary: Accommodation all OK. Unfortunately really bad weather meant we had to shorten our stay so only spent 2 nights there.

Positive: We loved the location, very easy to get to most places in mid/north Somerset. It was also very quiet and relaxing. The Barn was clean and surprisingly spacious. It was perfect for a couple to unwind in. Hosts were friendly and welcoming. Despite the barn being pretty much on their drive we never felt crowded or imposed upon.

Negative: Nothing really!

Positive: Beautifully converted barn. Everything that we needed. Ideal location for us to visit friends and explore a new area. Warm and cozy, peaceful surroundings. Excellent hosts, very helpful information files with instruction on how to operate most equipment. We had a very enjoyable stay, would highly recommend and revisit if in this area in the future.
