Negative: Nothing
Summary: Fantastic get away in the nature

Positive: The outstanding feature of the property is the warm welcome and attention to detail of hosts Andrea and Robert, who ensured that every aspect of the stay was perfect. This included information and suggestions for daily activities, and the most amazing homemade breakfasts, including accommodating a request for vegan options, which were interesting, delicious, nutritious and varied daily. The property is well situated in this charming, tranquil and scenic Black Forest village, surrounded by nature, but well connected by a local trainline (10 minutes walk to station on delightful paths or very quiet lanes) which makes travelling by public transport easy. There are a variety of evening eating options within walking distance, mainly at local hotels. Excellent hiking from the door (Feldsee and Ravenna Gorge particularly recommended), and good cycling options (we hired bikes at nearby Titisee).
Negative: The vegan evening meal options in some hotel restaurants were limited, and certainly not as good as Andrea’s wonderful breakfasts, although Hotel Imbery had a good vegan 3 course menu.
Summary: Outstanding hospitality including vegan and non-vegan breakfasts, in a peaceful Black Forest village surrounded by natur

Positive: The breakfast is truly spectacular, everything is either home made, or at least local and Andrea is happy to provide information, i.e. buying more of it is possible. Cheeses, meat, jam, honey, yoghurt, eggs, pancakes, whatever the heart (and stomach) desires. The location is central in the southern black forest, very well located for day trips, and even several nice hikes straight from the Hollhouse. The room is spacious, as is the terrace, and has a fridge, tea set and wine glasses, so sitting on the terrace with a glass of wine or two is possible and highly recommended.
Negative: The house is probably nothing for travellers in a hurry, because the breakfast is too good to gulp down in a hurry and will/should take time. ;-)
Summary: Fantastic stay, big suite. We will surely come back
