The surrounding area offers numerous leisure activities in any weather, including the Marlow waterway area, the Amber Museum Ribnitz-Damgarten, an adventure village in Rövershagen, the Maritime Museum Stralsund, the Ozeaneum Stralsund, Rostock Zoo, the seaside resort of Warnemünde, and the Salt Museum Bad Sülze.
