Positive: Setting and uniqueness of the building. The shower was very powerful. Included breakfast was adequate bacon, eggs, bread, jam, yoghurt . Cabin was good for 2 people.

Negative: Bed was just a double, and the mattress was very uncomfortable, would benefit from a mattress topper. Otherwise, our stay was a good experience .

Positive: Our night in the Hole in the Ground was truly magical and unforgettable. From grilling steaks while watching the sunset, to roasting marshmallows by the fire, to getting cosy and watching The Hobbit, every moment felt special. As big Lord of the Rings fans, this was the perfect way to kick off our trip to the Hobbiton movie set. We were so impressed with Johan, who built this incredible hobbit hut himself. He was welcoming, helpful, and made us feel right at home. But our absolute favourite part of the stay was meeting his cat, who was such a delight! He cuddled up with us while we watched the movie, which made the night even more memorable. If you’re looking for a truly unique and magical getaway, this place will not disappoint. Thank you for making our stay so special!

Positive: The location and experience is undeniably unique. We recently did the Hobbiton Tour so it was a great extension of that experience. The cat was very sweet and friendly and spent hours cuddling with us.

Negative: The house was quite cold and it was difficult to keep the fire going. It was also a bit strange that the bathroom did not have a door of some sort.

Positive: Clean, tidy, peaceful and had lots of little extras to add a personal touch. It was fun and quirky. Loved the cosy fire place. Even though it rained for our stay and we couldn't use the fire pit and didn't cook outside, we loved our stay. Also loved the cat....

Negative: While we understand that the cost of everything is rising, this was on the upper for our price limit. And while it is an amazing place to stay that we feel in love with, is it value for money ?????

Positive: We love the hold stayed there. The cat 🐈 loves the cat treats the owner had in the kitchen area for us to give to it. The price included eggs and bacon and bread. And homemade jars, tea, and coffee also jug of milk. Also, DVD to watch.

Negative: The only thing we can say is that the egg spatula should be out in the cooking area. Hanging up on the wall. Also, english breakfast tea bags, please. But other than that, it was awesome lit the fireplace, and it was so nice and warm. Thank you.

Positive: Good stay, rather quite hobbit place, for LOTR fans must visit, nice BBQ, bed rather short for 190cm people but it's fine cause it's for hobbits. Watch out for the cat who likes to claim the living room space. Good self made breakfast from ready available ingredients.
