Positive: The house and the surroundings are absolutely stunning, we liked every aspect of our stay. The rooms are very cozy and charming, and the house overall has great character. It was very clean, well equipped and well kept. Johan, the host, was very receptive and friendly. Our only regret was not staying longer. We totally recommend this property!

Positive: Location was lovely, lots of countryside and farm animals around us. The house was spacious and peaceful (apart from a local music festival that was going on during the first weekend)

Negative: The bedroom is very dark and could do with a mirror - makeup, full length etc We had a problem with fleas/bed bugs, we were both bitten multiple times - the host did respond quickly to try and address the problem. One of the reasons we took this house is because it said NO dogs, so we assumed the place would be free of dog hairs and possible fleas? but the sofas had dog hairs on them, so the owner obviously has his 2 dogs in this house? This might be partly the cause of the infestation of whatever bugs they were (not mosquitos). I feel the house needs a good deep clean/fumigation - furniture, curtains, rugs, fur cushions, bed mattress, kitchen etc.

Positive: Property has a massive wow factor. The lounge area with the big fireplace made us feel like royalty! You could easily spend your whole time in the property and feel very chilled, but then again outside is very nice too and bruges is only 15 minutes away by car, Ghent just 30 minutes more.

Negative: Property does not have a washing machine so bring enough clothes for your stay. There are also laundromats available in Bruges, not far from the property if you need to use them.

Summary: Feel like royalty in your own manor!

Positive: The converted barn is amazing and very big and private.Lovely furnishing and equipped with everything you need. Hosts are very nice and greeted us.

Negative: A bit too far from the centre but taxi/Uber not a problem.

Positive: The location ad the house are beautiful, super peaceful and comfortable. The view is amazing as well, the countryside. Very easy to collect keys and enter the accommodation overall. A pdf is shared will al the information about everything: check-in, check-out, how to use the appliances, everything.

Negative: A deposit is requested after moving forward with the reservation.
