Positive: Very close to central station and fabulous location! Staff (especially all at breakfast) were so very kind, smiley and helpful! They sure are a credit to your establishment! Beds were soft and comfy.

Positive: This hotel is very convenient to the central S location and trams, so it is easy to explore even though Oslo is such a walkable city you barely need the transit options. More importantly, we found the staff to be truly exceptional. Everyone went out of their way to be helpful and kind, but we would like to give particular accolades to Pia at the front desk - when my husband had a particular boondoggle he wanted to pursue shopping wise, Pia took it upon herself to research what might interest him and gave us handwritten notes with suggestions that were really helpful! Really everyone working the front desk was so friendly and engaged that we felt the service far exceeded the price point! Kudos also to Linda, who saved the day helping us as well, and to the staff who continued to try to make us comfortable - even adjusting the thermostat by remote and lending us a fan when I thought menopause might kill me! The breakfast staff were also top notch, particularly the lovely 26 year old Bulgarian with the great personality and sense of humor. We were genuinely blown away by the quality of our experience and it ABSOLUTELY boiled down to the people. We would stay there again without any hesitation.

Negative: The rooms aren’t large but do you really go on vacation to hide out in your room? We were fine if cramped. Also if you don’t like a warm room, just ask reception to adjust the thermostat by remote. Problem solved!!
