The Space:
You will enjoy a fresh remodel in a privately set guest home that is part of our at a 1934 built home that retains as much charm as we could keep in the property. The bungalow includes new windows, a beautiful new shower and a modern kitchen that are merged with the classic shake roof, and an original paver patio that make this home stand out from the rest on the block. Here you will find a modern boho combination that is unique to our spaces
-The home is stocked for a group of up to 4 guests, and has a living room perfect for gathering around for rest and relaxation together or card games
-Xeriscaped lawn with outdoor seating and lighting to give your group a separated space for late night chats or early morning coffee to start your day.
Guest Access:
Guests will be sent a code to access the front door via a smart lock on the day of their check in. Please access the casita only through the left side of the gate. You are welcome to park two cars in the driveway, while the spaces in front of the house is reserved parking for main house guests

This home is one of our absolute favorites for essentially everything it offers within walking/bike distance.
Turn the corner going east and you are in the famous Encanto Park in central Phoenix that has an amusement park for kids, a fishing hole, plenty of walking paths, and both an 18 and 9-hole golf course.
Getting Around:
Freeway access is minutes away and you are a 7 minute uber from downtown. Getting to Cardinals stadium, any university, and the airports are less than 20 minutes away.

Summary: The property clean but was lacking in the following. 1. The bathroom opened onto the living room which is a bad floor plan feature. 2. The sheets were made of polyester. If you hoped for cool, cotton sheets, you better bring your own. 3. The TV only offered streaming. No cable TV, no local news/weather. 4. The icemaker did not work. 5. The front porch light did not work. 6. There was no salt in the salt shaker. Why not just replace it? 7. There were only 2 drinking glasses but 6 coffee mugs. 8. Some of the sharp knives in the knife block were rusted and dirty. 9. There was no telephone number for the local manager. An email to the local manager took several hours for a response. Hope there's no emergency. 10. It took a couple of days to find the garbage disposal switch.
