Summary: We had a wonderful spring break stay at the cottage. The house is charming and well equipped with everything you need. We were very pleased with the short walk to the grocery, the parks, the river, shopping, and restaurants, with a short 30-minute drive to ski Monarch.The pet-friendly accommodations were very important to us, and our dog appreciated the large yard.We enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the sun. We will definitely return in the fall for hiking.

Summary: Salida is one of our happy places and this stay is a treasure! The charm of this historic house was everything and the location can't be beat! We sat on the porch and the kids played at the park across the street, then wandered into town for restaurants shopping and playing by the river. We hope to stay again!

Summary: A quick 5 minute walk gets you to the beautiful historic downtown, and a 30 minute drive allows you to be on the ski slopes in no time. Couldn’t ask for anything more! Thank you!

Summary: We have stayed in this house at least 3-4 times over the past two years, when we come to ski Monarch. It is always perfectly clean, cozy, and comfortable, with everything we need. The fenced back yard is lovely for our dog, and the park across the street is our kiddo's favorite. We'll keep coming back!

Summary: We rented this property because of its proximity to other family members who were vacationing in Salida. This adorable house is located across from a park, and an easy walk in to the quaint town of Salida. We loved the charm of the house and the owners were wonderful! There is a large back yard, which is great when the weather is pleasant.

Summary: I am so glad we ended up at this property! It was the absolute PERFECT location. You can walk or bike anywhere you could possibly want to go. The house itself is so cute. The kitchen was fabulous, we’d been camping about a week and I was so ready for a ‘real kitchen’. The yard was wonderful, we played croquet and bbq’d and watched stars and just enjoyed the breeze. Bathroom is new and really nice too. So grateful this is where we ended up.
