Positive: We had a wonderful stay at Marie’s accommodation. The house is absolutely beautiful: extremely comfortable, very well decorated and full of thoughtful details in every corner. Every time we thought we had noticed everything, we discovered another small detail that made us smile — it truly feels like a home created with care and love. Marie is an exceptional host: kind, attentive and genuinely welcoming, without anything feeling forced. She made us feel at home from the very first moment. Breakfast was taken at the hosts’ house and was simply delightful — beautifully presented, delicious, and prepared with great care, reflecting the same attention to detail found throughout the entire stay. We are leaving with lovely memories and would absolutely recommend this accommodation to anyone looking for comfort, charm and a truly warm welcome. Our stay with Marie became an essential part of how we experienced Strasbourg, Colmar and the culture of Alsace, and we would happily return.

Positive: What a find!! Marie and her husband Gildas are the perfect B&B hosts. Each breakfast we were surprised with different local delights. Fresh fruit from the garden and where possible products all from local producers. Marie is such a happy and delightful person and clearly loves running her B&B. Her's would have to be one of our best B&B stays. The beautifully renovated house and barn with it's amazing garden, set in a quiet town, was an ideal base to explore this stunning region of France. Would highly recommend.

Positive: We enjoyed every minute of our stay at this lovely cottage. We got to experience the beautiful French country living with the tasteful decor and the delicious breakfast, along with the most wonderful hospitality of the hostesses, Marie. She and her family were very welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel at home. The pictures do not do justice to the beauty of the property. You have to be there to experience it. I really want to go back here, when I get another chance.

Positive: We absolutely loved our stay at Marie & Gildas’! The apartment was sparkling clean, decorated traditionally and with love to detail. We loved the homemade breakfast and the nice discussions we had with Marie and Gildas. We got fresh special local things every day. Highlight is of course their dog Newton, who is an absolute delight. Overall, we really enjoyed, exactly what we needed to relax!
