Positive: We had a spacious room which was comfortable for our family of four. Our son had a birthday here and we enjoyed a delicious room service breakfast. It is a short taxi or train ride from the main station. We walked from here to the castle and the shopping district. We enjoyed the pool and spa too.

Negative: They only told us after we booked that 1/2 board DID NOT INCLUDE COST FOR KIDS AT $25 per child per meat)

Positive: Very noisy room with children running up and down the hallway. Could hear lots of screaming and children playing morning, noon and night. Would not recommend for an enjoyable sleep. Beautiful view from the room though.

Negative: Noise proofing rooms.

Positive: A beautiful hotel (with a pool which was great for the kids), however the location wasn't the best and we struggled to find a restaurant that would let us bring the kids in (we have two boys aged 4 and 7 and we were turned away from numerous restaurants and were told by the last one that it was because we had young children with us). The hotel itself is beautiful. Breakfast had a lovely selection but I found it very expensive. We only stayed for one night as we were in transit between Tokyo and Osaka.

Negative: Very expensive breakfast. Not the best location. Lots of corporate/wedding events happening meant a super packed lobby.

Summary: Beautiful hotel, but a bit on the pricey side
