Summary: We booked a deluxe king room and the room was ok. When we checked in we were informed the air conditioning was not working. Our room was not that hot but the lobby area was stifling. The first night we kept hearing a loud metal grinding noise but thought it would be repaired. The second night it was worse. In the morning my husband took the elevator up to the next floor and discovered it was the elevator making the noise. As we were right next to it we asked to switch rooms. They were very accommodating and gave us a new room. It wasn’t as large but it was away from the elevator which was good. We were looking forward to some sleep when in the middle of the night a large picture came crashing down over the sofa. We were terrified at first and finally saw the problem. If someone had been sitting on the couch they would have been severely injured. The hotel is in desperate need of renovations. When we left (we stayed 6 nights) the air conditioning was still not working. The first 2 days were 80 degrees and this made the hotel very uncomfortable. I really feel we should receive some kind of compensation as I am a Hilton Honors member and we do book Hilton when we travel.

Summary: we are trapped in the hotel because of the blizzard. The staff are excellent, they were bending over backwards to accommodate us with2 extra days stay. We ate at both the Atrium and Nanking restaurants, both were exceptional with food and service. Rooms are always fabulous.

Summary: The hotel was very nice, the bar area was great. Our room was clean and comfortable but there were some other problems. The hallway leading to our room was blowing cold air and it was freezing. The heater in our room would not stay on so it was cooler than we would've liked. We thought the remote for the TV needed new batteries but the maintenance guy, who was very nice, said it was just an older system and there was lag time when navigating the menu, etc. We just had to go very slow. I didn't have a problem with the shower but my husband said he ran out of hot water but it may have been the spigot was temperamental. The good things I can mention is plenty of towels and the staff was very nice and quickly responded to our requests. This is a nice hotel but some infrastructure things are just older.
