Summary: Fast and friendly check-in. There is an open floor plan restaurant and bar right in the lobby, which was lively. We had dinner at the restaurant. Staff was friendly and efficient. They offer cocktails and also made me a non-alcoholic version of one of their cocktails, which was delicious. Enjoyed the smoked half chicken dinner. Our room was quiet and comfortable. There were a couple of maintenance issues that could have been reported by housekeeping or previous guests but might not have been. The mirror in the room was off it's anchors and sitting upright on the desk. Also there was a hole in the bathroom wall that might have held a hook at one time. We reported these two things and the front desk staff was receptive and said she would report them to maintenance. Overall, a very comfortable and restful stay.

Summary: Never again. One elevator was out of service the whole time. Which caused big back up at the elevators. The room was so rundown the stick on floor tiles they stuck to the wall were all lifting and coming off. Told the front desk that the room smelled stale she said that there was new carpet. Ma’am please be so for real that carpet was older than me. There was a power outage which wasn’t their fault but there was a prom and a dance competition which led to screaming teenagers all night. Front desk was not the best when it came to the power outage. Rude We come to NC often to visit our son and this is a nope never again.
