Summary: While the Hilton staff provide unparalleled hospitality, my rooms were underwhelming. In the first room, the AC didn't work, with temperatures reaching 25.5 C / 78 F at night. Once changed, not only did the AC not work in the second room, but a large skylight allowed nighttime ambient light in + a fully bright room at 530 AM. I was offered to move rooms again, which I declined, given packing and unpacking two nights in a row for a three night stay seemed exhausting.

Summary: The Hilton in Addis Ababa is one of the oldest hotels in Addis so some of the fixtures are dated but the staff were extremely kind (airport shuttle driver, clerk at check in, front of the restaurant staff (for breakfast)) - all just extremely nice. My check in process was smooth and the view was great. Finally, there was live music on the Sunday night which was really nice.

Summary: Hotwater went out a couple of times. Bedroom furniture is old and in disrepair. The staff is very friendly and helpfull.

Summary: We enjoyed our one-night stay at Hilton. However, when we came back from dinner, the hot water had surprisingly been running by full force and the bathroom totally flooded. Luckily we came in time before the whole room was full of water. A mechanic fixed the sink, but it took time before someone came to removethe water. However, after a couple of hours they provided us with a new room and late check out as compensation. That was great! The breakfast was very good, as the bowls in the restaurant.
