Summary: We had a great stay at Hilton Addis Ababa. The service was wonderful and the large property allowed our kids to have plenty of space to run around and explore. We loved the play area right by the restaurant and the different sport activities available. Also loved the central location to several parks, sites, and activities.

Summary: While the Hilton staff provide unparalleled hospitality, my rooms were underwhelming. In the first room, the AC didn't work, with temperatures reaching 25.5 C / 78 F at night. Once changed, not only did the AC not work in the second room, but a large skylight allowed nighttime ambient light in + a fully bright room at 530 AM. I was offered to move rooms again, which I declined, given packing and unpacking two nights in a row for a three night stay seemed exhausting.

Summary: The Hilton in Addis Ababa is one of the oldest hotels in Addis so some of the fixtures are dated but the staff were extremely kind (airport shuttle driver, clerk at check in, front of the restaurant staff (for breakfast)) - all just extremely nice. My check in process was smooth and the view was great. Finally, there was live music on the Sunday night which was really nice.
